All my life I was called the skinny kid. In high school I weighed 130 pounds soaking wet and it seemed like all of the other guys were growing and getting bigger while I was staying the same. I started working out and lifting weights and my strength increased a lot, but I couldn’t gain weight. It seemed I was a victim of a super fast metabolism. I resigned to the fact that there was nothing I could do to pack on muscle and I was prepared to be “the skinny guy” for the rest of my life.
