American Whey Protein: Raving fan!

Friday, November 20th, 2009

I am officially a raving fan of american whey protein! I can’t believe how many flavors this comes in. I stood at the shelves, just staring for the longest time. The price was so good, I decided to get chocolate and vanilla. When I blended it up, it did have a bit more foam than a lot of others, but it didn’t last long. I drank it down and it tasted SO good! I am drinking two per day and I feel great. (more…)

If You Want A Weight Gainer American Whey Protein Is Not It

Thursday, November 19th, 2009

American Whey Protein is a good product, with plenty of protein and very few carbohydrates. If you are looking for a weight gainer though, this is not it and you should look elsewhere instead. With only one hundred and four calories per serving and very few carbs, this supplement will not help you gain weight. I have used it for two months now, and it is a great protein powder that mixes smoothly and actually tastes like a beverage that is meant to be consumed, instead of toxic waste or dirt clumps in swamp water with flavoring added to cover the horrendous taste. American Whey Protein comes in many delicious flavors, and some of them sound almost good enough to make you drool. This supplement does one thing, provide a moderate amount of protein, but it does this very well. I like it for this simplicity, instead of a product that tries to do many things, and fails at all of them.

American Whey Protein: Mixes well and tastes great!

Thursday, November 19th, 2009

By far, this is the best whey protein powder on the market. It mixes well, whether you use a shaker or a blender. It does seem to froth a bit more than most, but, the froth will disappear in about 2 to 3 minutes. A lot of powders have that chalky taste and you just gulp it down. (more…)

American Whey Protein Is So Smooth

Thursday, November 19th, 2009

I tried American Whey Protein, and this has a lot going for it. I need a protein supplement but I do not want a gainer or high calorie drink. A friend told me about American Whey, and how it offered twenty grams of protein with only around one hundred calories. When I looked at it in the store there were plenty of choices when it came to flavors, so I purchased a container of the peach cobbler variety. I was surprised at just how smooth this powder mixes, not like the others that claim smoothness but actually are lumpy and bumpy, with bubbles of powder that are gritty. American Whey Protein actually tastes good when mixed with apple juice, making it taste similar to a peach and apple juice combination. It can also be mixed with water or milk if you prefer.

Is American Whey Protein The Right Choice?

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

With all the protein supplements and powders on the market, choosing the right one can be difficult. One of these is American Whey Protein, and that is the supplement I am using right now. This product has pros and cons, and evaluating them can help you determine if this is the right choice for you as well. American Whey Protein is low in carbs and calories, but has a moderate amount of protein at twenty grams per serving. It is no mass builder or gainer powder, but it can help ensure that you have an adequate amount of protein to keep your muscles growing, and prevent your body from going into a catabolic state which can cost you muscle instead. Whether or not this is the right protein supplement for you will depend on your nutritional needs and fitness goals.

American Whey Protein: I Love It

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

After using American Whey Protein for a while, I had to write and let everyone know just how well this product works and why I love it. I have tried my share of powder supplements, and I have to admit that I really did not like any of them. Either the results were not what I expected, or the product was so expensive that I was not willing to continue shelling out large amounts of money for minimal results. With American Whey Protein this was not the case, because the price is reasonable and I have seen results that have made me a believer in this protein supplement. The directions state that it can be mixed with either water, juice, or milk. I have tried all three and the milk option creates a creamy and nutritious drink that actually tastes good. The juice version is not bad either, although it is not as creamy or filling as the powder mixed with milk, but the water version is gross.

American Whey Protein: Good taste, great price

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

I admit, I was skeptical about this whey protein. The price was really good for 10 lbs. I am pleasantly surprised. I have tried a few powders over the years and am getting back into lifting after some pretty heavy duty surgery. I started out with the chocolate, which has a fantastic taste. If anything, it might be a bit too chocolatey. I always use a blender, mixed it with skim milk (to start out with). (more…)

American Whey Protein Really Delivers

Tuesday, November 17th, 2009

American Whey Protein is one of those products that talk a good game, but does it really work? This ASN supplement is supposed to help me get all the protein my muscles want and need, and that is something I have been looking for. After hearing about American Whey Protein from some friends at the gym, I could not wait to try it. It is not a weight gainer, because each drink only has one hundred and four calories. It is a protein supplement, with twenty grams of protein in each serving. Within a month of starting this supplement, I have noticed that it is working. I get better results from all my workouts, and I do not have problems with stiffness or soreness the day after. If you want more muscles and better definition, then this may be the best option for meeting your nutritional needs.

American Whey Protein: Good Product, Great Taste!

Tuesday, November 17th, 2009

I went to my local health store looking for a whey protein shake. The shelves were filled with SO many products – I didn’t know where to start. I decided to try American whey protein, because the price was pretty decent. First – the selection of flavors is amazing. I started with Peach Cobbler. (more…)
