American Whey Protein tastes better than most

Wednesday, November 25th, 2009

American Whey protein isn’t too bad tasting, and that was a surprise. I’m used to taking proteins that force me to chug them rather than enjoy, but I can honestly say American Whey protein isn’t painful to take. It’s nothing that special either, but compared to the majority of other products out there, it is a delight. (more…)

American Whey Protein is more of what I want, less of what I don’t

Wednesday, November 25th, 2009

I started taking American Whey protein after having some bad experiences in the past with proteins causing my stomach to turn. I saw the product listed as lactose free and being made from primarily whey protein isolate, so my interest was piqued. The product itself tastes pretty good, and with the right additions, like fruit or peanut butter, it is a pretty excellent product for increasing protein intake. (more…)

American Whey Protein is good to take any time

Wednesday, November 25th, 2009

I’ve been taking American Whey protein a few times a day and it’s helped me quite a bit in keeping my body together as well as helping me in my goals for getting leaner. I’ve taken it first thing in the morning, either as breakfast or with a meal, after my workouts, and right before bed. (more…)

American Whey Protein is a better choice over whey protein concentrate

Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

American Whey Protein isn’t a normal protein product. Basic proteins, from the cheap stuff you find at Walmart, to even the name brand stuff from every company, consists of a lot of whey protein concentrate. In my experience, these whey concentrates do a great job of giving you the protein, but often there is a big of bloating and other discomfort that many experience. Why take a protein that causes you discomfort? If I’m going to take a product, I want it to give me the gains I’m taking it for and enjoy it. Thats where American Whey protein and its high amount of whey protein isolate comes in.

American Whey Protein has a size for everyone

Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

When I shop for proteins, I look for great value. Some great proteins come in only smaller containers that last maybe 2 weeks to a month if you’re taking it irregularly. I look for something to last me months, because with a busy lifestyle and training schedule, the last thing I want to worry about is whether or not I have enough supplement at home.

American Whey Protein is a great choice for lactose intolerance

Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

A lot of people think all proteins are the same. While the basic macronutrient involved is the same, the quality can vary tremendously. There are other special considerations, such as disease, which may or may not affect the decision making process of choosing a protein supplement. For those who are lactose intolerant, the number of choices for protein supplementation drastically diminishes. Many proteins have a good amount of naturally occurring sugar lactose, making them a digestive nightmare for those of us who can’t stomach it.

American Whey Protein mixes amazingly

Monday, November 23rd, 2009

When I started taking proteins, my biggest complaint was how chunky the powders mixed. American Whey protein doesn’t look flashy in its packaging, but what is inside is all that matters. Finding out that American Whey protein is whey protein isolate, compared to the run of the mill products being a combination blend largely built upon whey concentrate, gave me hope that maybe this protein would be a little different in mixing. American Whey Protein is a little too light for those with fast metabolisms

Monday, November 23rd, 2009

I took American Whey Protein for a little while under the recommendation of a friend who claimed it was the hottest thing since sliced bread. Unfortunately, my friend’s not one to pay attention to detail, and when things such as a very high metabolism come into play, products like American Whey Protein aren’t very good at all. The majority of the product is nothing but protein, which is great for most people. For those of us who burn way more than we can normally eat, not so much.

American Whey Protein is ASN’s great achievement

Monday, November 23rd, 2009

Many people complain about spending a lot of money on protein, especially those made from a majority of whey protein isolate or hydrolyzed whey peptides. Many of these claims are made from those that are uneducated in the refining process or those who have little to no experience in taking products and knowing how they can affect your body. It is important to know what you are paying for and what your body can handle.

American Whey Protein is great for weight management, less effective at mass building

Monday, November 23rd, 2009

Pretty much anyone you run into at a gym will take a supplemented whey protein product. The new fad for many of them is using a whey protein isolate because of the less fat and carbs present in the powder. Now, considering how many people are focused on the aesthetics of the human body and workout with that in mind, this makes sense. American Whey protein is one of these whey protein isolates that is great for those looking to stay lean.
