Lean Dessert Protein, BSN

It’s my junior year in college and as a collegiate basketball player I’ve learned that to be at my best I need to work on my game but I also need to make sure my nutrition is on point too. Unfortunately I had to learn that the hard way during my sophomore season. I remember it like it was yesterday. The game was tied and I was guarding the other team’s best player. He was a 6 foot 5 shooting guard who could drive and shoot. He was an all-conference selection and many people think he might have a chance to play pro ball.

Anyway, there was a loose ball and it started rolling to the other end of the court and it was him and I who were running after it. It was heading to their basket and I knew if I didn’t get there first he would score and the game would be over. As we were running the length of the court my body just gave up on me. I had nothing left to give and he got the ball and easily coasted in for the game winning lay-up.

Afterwards my coach sat me down and said I should have gotten that ball and that I was outhustled. I told him I’d been slacking on the diet and eating a lot of the greasy food offered on campus. He immediately assigned a trainer to me and told me if I didn’t get it together I was in danger of being benched.

One of the trainers Marcus suggested I go with him and pick up some supplements. We went out to the local supplement store and picked up some Lean Dessert Protein by BSN. He said it tasted great and was the perfect protein for basketball athletes such as myself. He said by taking this I would get leaner but also build more muscle mass.

Each scoop had only 130 calories, and a whopping 20 grams of protein. BSN Lean Dessert Protein is a multi-functional protein and is delivered to your body in time released intervals lasting up to seven hours. That means you are feeding your body the essential amino acids it needs for hours after you’ve consumed the great tasting shake.

It also has glutamine and branch chain amino acids that help my body recover from games and workouts faster. I’ve been faithfully sticking to my diet and exercise and have gained 10 pounds of muscle and have lost 2% body fat. I’m happy to say that halfway through my junior year I’m the leading scorer on my team averaging 21 points per game. I’m hoping to be named first team all conference with a chance to play ball at the next level. I had a rematch with that same player that scored the game winning layup on me but this time I held him to a season low 8 points on 3 of 14 shooting.

BSN Lean Dessert Protein has made me a believer and I could not have gotten these great results without it.
