Isopure Zero Carb, Natures Best

I recently got serious about working out and through word of mouth at the gym, I ended up purchasing my first tub of Isopure Zero Carb protein powder. I have been carb sensitive in the past and have a difficult time losing weight when I don’t restrict my carbohydrates, so this supplement seemed a perfect fit for me.

In the past I have tried just about every protein powder out there, and have never really complained about the taste because none of them taste like an ice cream sundae, but I was pleasantly surprised by the cookies and cream flavor. No, it is not an Oreo Shake from Dairy Queen, but it goes down easily.

Aside from the nice flavor, what really sold me was the pure source of protein. Isopure’s protein source is 100% pure ion exchange whey protein isolate. Isopure Zero Carb contains no sugar and is instantized so it can be taken anytime and anyplace, all you need is a spoon. The major protein components of Isopure by Nature’s Best are beta-lactoglobulin, alpha-lactalbumin, immunoglobulin, bovine serum albumin, and lactoferrin. There are also a load of rich branched amino acids and glutamine. In fact, each serving contains 3,465 mg of isoleucine, 7,865 mg of leucine, 3,080 mg of valine, and 4.6 g of L-glutamine. Through my recent research, I found that these components are crucial for working out. Athletes need more protein than sedentary people in order to achieve a positive nitrogen balance. Nature’s Best Isopure helps to put you in the positive nitrogen zone you are aspiring to be in.

I just can’t get over the fact that Nature’s Best offers 50 grams of whey protein isolate with every serving of Isopure Zero Carb. This company doesn’t hide anything, they want people like you and me to know what they are talking about and listing on their labels. Personally, I want to understand with little research, what I am putting into my body.

For a rich shake, I mixed two scoops with 12-14 ounces of water into a shaker. For a little colder and thicker shake, I lessened the water content and added a few ice cubes to my Magic Bullet. The blender can come in handy as well. If you lack a shaker or blender, the purity of the protein dissolves by just adding the pack to water. If you have a spoon and glass you are in luck. I had to do this when at work and was pleasantly surprised to find that the protein dissolves clear. This also has to do with the purity level. The protein will dissolve so clear you can see right through the glass or shaker bottle. Now that’s pure!

I highly recommend Isopure Zero Carb as a fine source in low carb protein powders. Its rich flavor accompanied with proven results is just what I needed to order my second tub of this great protein source. Not only do I enjoy the increase in energy I feel upon waking up in the morning, but also the refreshed sensation I feel all day long. Of note, is the limited bloating factor after drinking the shake. I thoroughly enjoy this protein supplement.
